People who know that Switzerland is more than yodeling, chocolates, and fondu, that it is also secretive Swiss bankers (with whom, one jurisdiction and much geography removed, I was once proudly worked) and lethal arms dealers, that it declined to enter the European Union, and never seriously considered adopting the Euro, may wonder.
